Jay would say he learned to walk while picking up dog poop for his father, a professional dog handler and devote dog person himself. His father Bob Stebbins was a well know handler in the dog show world. His grandfather, Monroe Stebbins, was well known handler, breeder of stunning Doberman’s and a well respected AKC representative. Jay’s childhood was spent apprenticing for his father and other well known handlers and dog breeders. A life which started with walking and pooper scoopers.

It was far from your average childhood. But the devoted care and understanding of the relationship between dogs and their owners has been passed down through the generations. It is not surprising that Jay’s life revolves around the dog world as well. As he thoroughly enjoys the company of dogs and other dog people.
